I've been a fan since the first catalog in 1986. My daughter was less than a year old when it arrived but she was my excuse to get Sam (they look alike) and I just went on from there. That first catalog came as quite a shock. I had some Madame Alexander dolls as a kid and vaguely knew they were still around, but I knew from experience that they weren't all that playable. The AG dolls, on the other hand, looked like friends inviting me into their world. They still do. [img]smile.gif[/img]
